We have couple of clients that still use monochrome monitors and dos as the operating system, which is great. It works, and that's what counts.

The problem comes in when they try to connect to the internet and things are a bit slow say the least. Simply put, I'm running out of friends that still use a dial up service to access the internet, everyone has some type of high speed connection and things are and will get a lot faster.

In my personal opinion, I don't think the two companies in question will last more then 10 years. It's not that they don't do a good job or don't know how to run a business.

the economy is changing. people are changing. Their buying habits are a lot more diversified and they are a lot more educated about what they buy. Guess where all this wonderful information comes from? Well, it's not the TV.

To be on the net, you have to upgrade and you have to do it often.

It's not expensive, just necessary.
